Meet Cassie

Owner & Speech-Language Pathologist

Cassie founded Connect Therapy to provide speech therapy to clients in all stages of life. Before getting her master's degree in speech-language pathology, she was a special education teacher. She chose speech therapy because she was drawn to a career dedicated to help people connect with their loved ones and communities.

Cassie has worked in a variety of settings, including private practice, assisted living/memory care, skilled nursing/long term care and acute inpatient rehabilitation. Cassie believes connection is the foundation of communication and is excited to work with clients from birth to 99 to build connections and improve quality of life.

Cassie grew up in central Iowa and she and her family are happy to call Waukee home.

Meet Jen

Speech-Language Pathologist

Jen is a speech-language pathologist with over five years of experience working in both clinical and school settings. She is passionate about supporting individuals and families with care that's personalized to their needs.

Some of her special interests include pediatric feeding disorders, gestalt language processing, speech sound disorders, and cleft lip and palate. She always aims to meet each person where they are and move forward at a pace that feels right for them.

She believes therapy should feel empowering, supportive, and full of small wins that lead to big growth. She's so glad you're here!
